Whats good Domination? First off I have to let you know from the gate, the joints you been putting out have been serious. We understand you have gained a loyal fanbase and continue make your mark in the 5 boroughs and on. First thing that comes to mind to ask is.....


RapCapital.com: What new projects are in the works for you??

Domination: right now Im continuing with my mixtape series groundwork,Im up to part 8 now working on part 9 and Im also doing songs for any upcoming official release. I just signed a deal with hitmob/img/universal with my own imprint gf records so everything is going well, no more koch were done with those guys!

RapCapital.com: Can you tell us some of the artists (features) you have worked with and currently are?

Domination: I have worked with kurupt, billy Bathgate, ali vegas, c-bo, yukmouth the whole regime and west coast mafia, and a host of underground artist. I just did a song with drag-on I worked with j-hood and I am still cool with everybody yah feel meif I fuck with you I fuck with you I am the definition of loyalty! I also have my own squad silver back guerillaz=young dice, lil roc, jonni dole, gabbo (my Jamaican artist), team henchmen, 326 fam poe rilla, zay, and a whole lot of other goons!

RapCapital.com: How bout any producers you are working with?

Domination: I am working with a lot of underground producers but I can name drop a few big ones such as heat makers, d.r. period, get large productions(france), shateek from my home town south Jamaica peter ellis, press, baby c-style, zay from 326 fam dam its too many to name I fuck with whoever has hot tracks and most of the time its the underground niggaz cause they still hungry and looking to make a mark on this fucked up industry!

RapCapital.com: When is the album going to drop?

Domination: my first album GOD GIVETH GOD TAKETH AWAY is in stores now! The second album will be out either the end of this year or the beginning of next year but I promise you its gonna be a problem, now I got the backing I need with the distribution through universal its fucking on like hot buttered popcorn!

RapCapital.com: whats a typical day like for domination?

Domination: wake up, hit the streets,I used to go to school but I fell back for a while now I just write rhymes, take care of my daughter, get money and live like a regular nigga. I got no time for the bullshit others rappers talk about it but Im really in the mix if you know what I mean. Im the one cops is chasing, the one bitches love, grinding to make it out the hood thats me I live this shit for real!

RapCapital.com: What do you feel hiphop lacks nowerdays?

Domination: hip-hop lacks love and respect, everybody wants to be the boss and they cant people need to respect their positions and stop hating on other niggaz. People always feel like you have to do bad for them to do good, thats some bullshit its enough bread out here for all of us to eat!

RapCapital.com: In 2001 who did you feel won the battle between nas and jay?

Domination: come on are you serious nas did him dirty however nas won the battle but jay-z won the war because he kept making hits and nas is real cocky so he kinda fell back after jay woke him up for a while he became quite again he is not a consistant artist and thats what hurt his carrer.

RapCapital.com: There was a shooting back at your record release party in Oct. 05.How has your friend recooping from the incident since it happened?

Domination: my nigga is good he back on his bullshit that aint do nothing but make him stronger hes still living and ready to shoot haha!!! Its a small thing to a giant

Rapcapital.com: I have to say personally your versatility on "we just friends" stuck with me.Alot of mc's nowerdays are too scared to do a track like that.What makes you different?

Domination: Im not scared to be regular I go through the same shit as anybody else, Im happy sometimes, Im sad sometimes, Im mad sometimes, I hate some people, I love some people Im regular yah feel me.I bleed the same blood as anybody living!

RapCapital.com: Also "mysery" is another heart wrenching reality.Those 2 tracks prove in itself that you arent a 1 sided close minded mc out for a quick dollar.What made you decide to do such a vivid track like this?

Domination: Its real life I go through that shit, your love for the streets can lead to your down fall and I realized that early in life I been in shootouts, Ive lost close friends and family to violence, Im still going through the struggle

RapCapital.com: At this point in time how do you feel about 50 cent and the G unit movement?

Domination: I have no problems with 50 Im tryna get money bottom line.

RapCapital.com: What was your take on "GET RICH OR DIE TRYING" the movie? Do you think it was fabricated or can you say it was true?

Domination: I cant comment on another mans vision of what took place in his life
