Today we are kicking it with a new up and coming rapper named Codizzle.

For starts where did the name come from?

My name came from my Uncle he used to always call me Dizzle. Then I added the Co to the dizzle and there goes Codizzle. I tell you its better then my alias name Profit lmflyao.

Where are you reppin?

NYC to WVA

What made you pick up a mic and get busy?

Kio my cousin used to record on one on a 10 dollar tape deck radios. He used to been in my other cousin room just going at it and I was always one to learn other rappers songs and recite it like it was my own.

Who were your influences to get into music?

Kio and my cousin Peter Gunz inspired me to create the art that I make for the public.

Are you on a label? If so let us know.....

Currently I am Indie and always looking for more exposure on the label situation I am an entrepreneur anything someone else can do for me I can do for myself given the right elements you can succeed at anything.

Any new projects coming out? Any features?

Yes always new projects I strive to be better then a second a go. One of my newest projects will be my album Padded Walls crazy I tell you. I have the MIC check Hosted by Killa Priest on the way as well as some organization I am creating to help those in need for suits for Interview and those seeking information on what to say during interviews.

Are you disappointed in Hip-Hop nower days or impressed with it?

I am not disappointed I just look forward to more creative individual that will make the listener think more on how to be better each day. I would love to see others stepping out of there comfort zone words to leave by if you comfortable you are not working Hard enough.

Name a Golden year in hip-hop in your opinion?

The 90s was the Golden Year for me I enjoyed the ten year stretch to the 2000.

How would you describe your style of hip-hop?

My style of hip hop is Energetic Charismatic powerful Determined

What’s your goal for the hip-hop game?

To make great music for the public

Does you agenda include trying to change what’s going on nowadays?

Will changing I can only enlighten those around me they have to want to change I can paint a picture like van Gogh
For them to bare eyes upon and hope that it touches the right souls.

Does it frustrate you that to get major spins or radio play you have to "party like a rock star”?

No because payola is the business if you have enough money to brain wash your listeners you can control they eaten habits, the clothing they buy the shows they watch welcome to the mental slavery game.

Does Codizzle have any cross over tracks?

Yes I do I am working with a respected artist by the name of Kim sozzi please Google her she has given me so much knowledge of the business. I have a track called like a star with Kim Sozzi.

If you had to compare yourself to any 2 rappers dead or alive ..who would they be?

Jay-z and 2Pac

Here at Rapcapital.com we like to ask our features some questions that really are out of the norm.We do this because it gives the fans a broader outlook on you.So lets get it cracking ....

Did you vote? and if so ..Hilary or Obama?

I have not voted just yet but I encourage every one to go out and vote.

Are you more concerned with global warming or the state of hiphop?

I am concerned with the movement of the world we all need to open our eyes and see what is taken place in our community.

We need to help each other instead of putting our people down.

Does major ringtone sales make up for bad albums sales?

No ringtones are what killed the artist Denzel said it best you don’t want to over saturate the game with your presence because people will grow tired of you. So the industry will have you to sell your soul for a profit and that is not yours to sell.

And speaking of album sales ... is the internet really the reason that the music is failing?

Nope if anything the Internet is a great tool for marketing it connects you to users worldwide. The reason albums sales are down are due to lack of creativity and performances you have to give great shows for your listeners.

Who would win in a battle ...LL Cool J in his prime or Jay Z in his hayday?

That is a tough question two different worlds all I know is that would be a great battle to cast my eyes upon.

Back To The Norm.......

Name 1 song you've done that will have the Rapcapital.com viewers hooked!?
