Do you think hip hop will die in the mainstream and become pure again but not popular?

It will be both.

Where do you see Aftermath Records in 10 years?

Hopefully continuing to put out the next generations of greats in Hip Hop music.

Why is it most artists on Aftermath never come out?

Label politics; work ethic and sometimes, it’s just not meant to be.

When's your  album coming out?

Me and Dre still haven’t decided whether it will come before Detox or after.  You’ll see.

Out of all the people you worked with at Aftermath who has been the most influential?

Focus, Khalil, Busta and, of course, Dre.

How did your deal come about?

Ok…Are you and Joell Ortiz cool since the misunderstanding after him leaving Aftermath?

We always been cool.  That was some bullshit perpetuated by Miss Info and she can still suck a dick!

Lets be real.. mainstream music sucks .... do you see light at the end of the tunnel?  Will radio play ever happen again?

It’s not that mainstream radio sucks.  It’s the stuff they’re playing on mainstream radio.  If people will stop doing what everybody else is doing; chasing after T pain and Akon’s sound, and come up with their own sound, you’ll see a difference.  Original artists are making a comeback because people are tired of that dick riding, carbon copy fad music.

Do you think the cd will die? and will you miss the packaging and artwork and things that come with the cd?

It’s already dead!!  That’s why I’ve been doing the street albums for digital download in this fashion.  The transition has already begun from physical cd to the digital world.

Any new shows coming?

A few.  The dates are not confirmed yet but as before check my www.myspace.com/bishoplamont and my www.bishoplamont.com  page and the info will be there.

Whats the album gonna be called and when?

the “Reformation” .

Who are your top 5 rappers dead or alive?

Tupac, Biggie, Jay-z, Nas, and Andre 3000.

What song have you done recently that will sell you?

It’s too many!!  I’ll let you decide.

Who would you like to be president and why?

I hate getting into politics.  I write about it enough in songs.  I vote for Katt Williams.

Who's better in your opinion Lil Wayne or Jay Z?

Jay-z.

Can u give us any details of “Detox”?  Is it still coming? Are you on there?

I’m all over it, writing and featuring and Dre will shoot me if I say any more.

Any other producers or artists have you worked with for this new cd?

Dready Beatz, King Karnov, Diverse, and the list goes on.

Would you consider u and Dre more friends or business associates?

Friends.
